Can hit the three, but not with great consistency. Lacks textbook form, but it has never mattered. Gets good elevation and shows the ability to shoot off balance and with a hand in his face. Possesses an incredibly quick release on his jumper. Gets about a quarter of his offense in one-on-one situations, but is also a capable spot up player and runs the pick-and-roll effectively. Offense: One of the most prolific scorers in NBA history. Trying to win a championship before his storied career comes to a close. Wont always see eye-to-eye with coaches, but will give a great effort every time he steps on the floor. Named the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2001, becoming the shortest player to do so. Has become a legend, ranking among the all-time greats in points and steals. Earned the NBA Rookie of the Year award with his prolific scoring. Was selected with the first overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft. Garnered the Big East Rookie of the Year award as a freshman and Defensive Player of the Year honors in both of his collegiate season. Was a dominant force in the Big East Conference from day one. Came out of high school as a touted basketball and football player. One of the peskiest defenders in the NBA when he wants to be, which isnt that often these days. Scores at will from the midrange despite his size. Has the raw ability to make plays for others at times, but much more comfortable creating for himself. Will make ridiculous shots on a nightly basis. Possesses tremendous ball handling ability and a legendary crossover. Not the leaper he once was, but still explosive. One of the quickest players in the League.
